IMPORTANT SMOKE ALARM SAFETY UPDATE

All Queensland homes must have photoelectric, interconnected alarms in every bedroom, hallway, and on every level by 2027.

Queensland’s updated smoke alarm legislation comes into full effect from 1 January 2027, with earlier compliance required for homes being sold or rented.
If you’re unsure whether your smoke alarms are compliant, we’ll assess your setup and upgrade them to keep your home and family protected.
